Terms & Conditions

1) The course schedule is to be followed as outlined in the course orientation session, subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, safety rules or the agreement of the whole group.
2) Non-attendance is to be reported at least 24 hours before the scheduled session and any non-attendance without prior notice may result in being excluded from the course.
3) A charge may be made for any catch-up session required following non-attendance, to enable a student to re-join the course.
4) Open Water training dates and/or venues, may be changed at the discretion of the instructor owing to bad weather or any other factors that may affect safety or logistics.
5) Any additional Open Water sessions required by a student to meet the necessary course performance requirements, may incur a charge to cover instructor expenses and time. This will involve a charge of £25 per 2 hours plus petrol at 38 pence per mile.
6) Refunds will not be issued. Any deposits for trips and/or training are strictly non-refundable.
7) Some courses may be cancelled due to insufficient numbers . This is at the discretion of Deep Down Diving management.
8) A student may be refused tuition if they attend a session in an unfit state (e.g. under the influence of alcohol or drugs), and may be charged for any catch-up sessions required to re-join the course.
9) Deep Down Diving reserves the right to refuse any of its services to any person without giving reason.
10) Full payment must be received before any trip or course is commenced.
11) Payment in full is required 28 days in advance .
12) Failure to pay within the aforementioned terms may result in the loss of any deposit and may also result in legal action to recover any other costs.
